There is a limit to the number of people who can visit the exhibition at once. By booking a start time for your visit, you grant yourself all the time and space you will need to enjoy the exhibition.

An ICE AGE: A Mammoth Journey ticket also allows you to explore the entire permanent Odysseum exhibition.
Last entry into the exhibition will be 75 minutes before closing of the Museum.
Any disabled persons and accompanying persons registered ("B" in the ID card) with 80% degree of disability pay a reduced price.
The exhibition offers numerous opportunities for groups and school classes.

How long does it take to visit the exhibition?
Visitors should expect to spend roughly one hour in the exhibition “ICE AGE: A Mammoth Journey”.

Yes. The merchandise shop offers a variety of ICE AGE-fan articles. Take your favorite part home!

Can I visit the exhibition in a wheelchair?
Arrival, access (elevator) and stay at the Odysseum are barrier-free.
Is it recommended to book tickets in advance?
Yes. In order to avoid disappointment at the door we advise to book tickets in advance. You will be allotted a specific time to start your visit. Tickets can be purchased at the Odysseum or online, and even printed out at home.
Why do I need to purchase tickets for a specific time?
There is a limit to the number of people who can visit the exhibition at once. By booking a start time for your visit, you allow yourself all the time and space you’ll need to enjoy the exhibition “ICE AGE: A Mammoth Journey” to its fullest.
Each ticket is valid for a certain period of time in which you are admitted to the exhibition. You decide your timeslot when booking (online, by phone or at your pre-sales point). After admission, the stay at the Exhibition - within the opening hours - is unlimited.
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Yes. The box office opens with the opening of the Odysseum and closes one hour before the Odysseum closes. To avoid disappointment at the doors, visitors are advised to book tickets in advance.
What happens if I miss my time - slot?
Visitors are responsible for arriving on time for the time slot indicated on their tickets. Make sure to leave extra time to avoid disappointment, including time to pick up your tickets, if applicable.
Can I return tickets?
Tickets are in general nonrefundable. Visitors must contact the box office where the tickets were purchased.
Are photography and filming permitted in the exhibition?
Yes. Visitors are welcome to take pictures and videos for personal use during their time in the exhibition. Please note, however, that both flash photography and the use of a tripod are prohibited. Media photography (and any photography for professional use) is prohibited unless authorized and accompanied by museum staff.
Who is the exhibition for?
This exhibition has to offer something interesting to everyone. From kids to grandparents, from super fans to newbies.
Do I have to know all the ICE AGE movies to understand the exhibition?
No. The exhibition offers a lot of scientific background information as you take this fantastic journey with the ICE AGE- characters through Ice Age.
Is the exhibition appropriate for very young children?
This exhibition has been designed to be enjoyed by visitors of all ages, but we recommend a minimum age of six years.
